School shuru hone se 1 hafta pehle

  2. School wali routine abhi se shuru kijiye: sone aur uthne ka fixed time.
  3. Bag, bottle aur tiffin bachche ke saath kharidiye ya chuniye.
  4. Ghar par “school-school” ka khel khelein: baithna, line mein chalna, tiffin kholna.
  5. School ke baare mein khush hokar baat kijiye, darr wali baatein nahi.

Hafta 1 (Din 1–7): Bharosa banana

  1. Ek short, pyaar bhara goodbye: “Lunch ke baad mummy aayegi.” Chupke se mat jaiye.
  2. Har din drop karne wala ek hi vyakti ho, toh behtar.
  4. Pick-up hamesha time par. Late hona bharosa todta hai.
  5. Ghar aakar pehle khana aur aaram, sawaal baad mein.

Hafta 2 (Din 8–14): Routine pakki karna

  1. Roz ek jaisa subah ka routine: uthna, brush, nashta, bag, goodbye.
  2. Picture timetable banaiye: “School → Lunch → Mummy → Ghar.”
  4. Sone se pehle ek achhi school-baat poochhiye: “Aaj kya mazedaar hua?”

Hafta 3 (Din 15–21): Doston aur teacher se judna

  1. Class ke ek bachche ke saath weekend play-date rakhiye.
  2. Teacher se 2 minute baat: bachcha kab khush hai, kab pareshan.
  3. Bachche ki chhoti-chhoti koshish par taareef: “Tum khud bag lekar gaye, wah!”
  4. Tuition ya extra classes abhi mat shuru kijiye.

Hafta 4 (Din 22–30): Independence badhana

  1. Chhote kaam khud karne dijiye: tiffin kholna, joote pehnna, bag rakhna.
  2. Goodbye aur chhota kijiye; gate par rukna kam kijiye.

  • School ko sazaa ki tarah use karna (“shararat karoge toh school bhej dunga”)
  • Late raat tak mobile ya TV

⚠️ Doctor se kab milein

  • 6 hafte baad bhi roz bahut rona

First 30 Days School Settling Plan (English) 🏫

One week before school starts

  1. Show your child the school gate, classroom and playground, or show photos.
  2. Start the school routine now: fixed times for sleeping and waking.
  3. Buy or choose the bag, bottle and tiffin together with your child.
  4. Play “school-school” at home: sitting, walking in a line, opening the tiffin.
  5. Talk about school happily; avoid scary statements.

Week 1 (Days 1–7): Building trust

  1. Give a short, loving goodbye: “Mummy will come after lunch.” Never sneak away.
  2. If possible, have the same person do drop-off every day.
  3. Let your child carry a small comfort item from home, such as a hanky or small toy (with the school’s permission).
  4. Always be on time for pick-up. Being late breaks trust.
  5. At home, food and rest first; questions later.

Week 2 (Days 8–14): Setting the routine

  1. Keep the same morning routine daily: wake up, brush, breakfast, bag, goodbye.
  2. Make a picture timetable: “School → Lunch → Mummy → Home.”
  3. Don’t keep your child home for crying, unless they are unwell.
  4. Before bed, ask about one good thing: “What was fun today?”

Week 3 (Days 15–21): Connecting with friends and teacher

  1. Arrange a weekend play-date with one classmate.
  2. Talk to the teacher for 2 minutes: when is your child happy, when upset?
  3. Praise small efforts: “You carried your own bag, well done!”
  4. Don’t start tuition or extra classes yet.

Week 4 (Days 22–30): Building independence

  1. Let your child do small tasks alone: opening the tiffin, wearing shoes, keeping the bag.
  2. Make goodbyes even shorter; spend less time at the gate.
  3. Together, make a small list or drawing of the good things from the first month.
  4. Ask the teacher about progress, and use the same strategies at home.

❌ Avoid these all month

  • Sneaking away
  • Crying at the gate yourself or going back again and again
  • Comparing your child with other children
  • Using school as punishment (“If you’re naughty, I’ll send you to school”)
  • Late-night mobile or TV

⚠️ When to see a doctor

  • Crying a lot every day even after 6 weeks
  • Not talking or playing with anyone at school all day
  • Getting very upset by noise or crowds
  • Daily stomach aches, poor sleep, or speaking less than before
  • Fear of a particular teacher or child

These can be signs of speech delay, autism, ADHD, sensory issues or bullying. Early identification helps the child settle sooner. đź’™
